IT IS fun to view 3D images but wearing stereoscopic glasses can be cumbersome. The Toshiba Satellite P850 3D multimedia notebook doesn’t require you to use any special device to enjoy 3D.

Its 15.6in widescreeen uses glasses-free 3D technology and a 3D webcam to track your eyes to realign images for a smoother 3D effect.

The notebook can also turn any 2D image into 3D on the fly.

A pair of Harmon Kardon stereo speakers with Slip Stream technology and SRS Premium Sound 3D complement the 3D viewing experience.

The audio technologies help produce rich bass, clear treble with wider surround sound when users listen to music, watch movies and play games on the machine.

There is also a Sleep & Music feature which allows users use the speakers even when the notebook is powered down.

To ensure users are in for an amazing entertainment and powerful multitasking experience the notebook uses the latest third-generation quad-core Intel i7 processor, up to 16GB RAM, 2GB nVidia GeForce GT640M graphics chip with 3D Play, up to 1TB of hard disk and a Blu-ray burner.

Other features include a backlit keyboard, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI out, and four USB3.0 ports (of which two support USB Sleep & Charge function for charging devices when the notebook is in sleep mode or powered off).

The Satellite P850 3D notebook retails for RM5,499.
